Will Taylor and Travis Break Up or Get Married?
And if you ask me, the Libra rising theory makes a lot of sense due to what it suggests about her life as of late–and about her compatibility with Travis Kelce. Which looks, dare I say, insane.

The gossip mill says there’s trouble in paradise. The publicists maintain they’re simply enjoying their privacy era. But what does Astrology, a.k.a. the world’s oldest, most reliable tool for getting to the heart of relationship matters, have to say? Turns out, quite a bit!
TAYLOR’S ASTROLOGY
Let’s start by taking a look at Taylor’s natal chart, for which we do not have a confirmed birth time. Why does this matter, you ask? Long story short, astrology gets much more precise and personal when we’re working with an exact, to-the-minute time of birth. Without this information, we simply cannot calculate a rising sign, which is key for future predictions. And in Taylor’s case, we also cannot be sure of her moon sign, because the moon moved from Gemini to Cancer in the early hours of December 13, 1989 (her birthday).
If we go with 8:36 am, the unconfirmed birth time many Astrologers use, that makes her a Capricorn rising with a Cancer moon. But if we suppose she was born 7 hours earlier, at 1:36 am, then she’d be a Libra rising, with her moon placed at the final degree of Gemini. Some Astrologers will tell you this is a fame degree. I believe it is undoubtedly the birth chart placement of someone adept at putting her emotions into words, which is why I’m inclined to believe it’s accurate.
And if you ask me, the Libra rising theory makes a lot of sense due to what it suggests about her life as of late–and about her compatibility with Travis Kelce. Which looks, dare I say, insane.
TRAVIS’S ASTROLOGY
We also don’t have a birth time for Travis Kelce, but we know he was born on October 5, 1989. This tells us for certain he’s got a Sagittarius Moon placement. Which is cute, given Taylor’s Sagittarius Sun: when it comes to Synastry (Astrology’s technical term for "Compatibility"), every Astrologer has a few favorite relationship signifiers, and this one – Sun Conjunct Moon – is up there for me. This is the Synastry placement of a couple that will still like one another after years and years of serious commitment. They are mutually emotionally supportive and simply enjoy each other’s company. What’s particularly interesting here is the feminine/masculine subversion. Taylor’s dominant light literally illuminates Travis’s softer side, helping him comfortably access parts of his psyche that were dormant before she came along. And assuming my theory on Taylor’s birth time is correct, then Travis gives her light in a reciprocal fashion, illuminating her Ascendant with his Sun. (Another Synastry placement we love to see in a couple’s chart.)

TROUBLE IN PARADISE?
Perhaps the strongest astrological indicator that Travis and Taylor are romantic soulmates is the fact that Taylor’s Scorpio Mars is precisely conjunct Travis’s Scorpio Venus. (Rest assured, Swelce fans, there are many more than we have time to cover in a single article, even without confirmed birth times.) This, in my humble opinion, is the Synastry placement to end all Synastry placements, significant of two perfectly matched puzzle pieces in human form. Yin and Yang. The fact theirs lands in Scorpio tells us quite loudly their relationship is anything but shallow or superficial.
The thing is, our personal Astrological placements – and the aspects they make with those of important people in our lives, whether positive or challenging – do not exist in a vacuum! They are influenced by the current Astrological energy, which is decided by the planetary lineup of the moment. And right now, the Swelce Venus/Mars conjunction is being challenged by one of Astrology’s most unpredictable agents of chaos: the planet Uranus. As we speak, Uranus is cruising through the later degrees of Taurus, the opposite end of the zodiac. For Travis in particular, this signals a certain restlessness. Of course, it could be that he’s simply eager to take the relationship to the next level. But often, this particular happening – transit Uranus opposite natal Venus – means breakup time. Dates to watch are May 4-5 this year, as well as February 4, 2026. (The Big Football Game happens to take place a few days later, on February 8, which is also sort of interesting, assuming his team makes the finals next year.)
…OR THE ULTIMATE LOVE STORY?
This June, when the planet Jupiter enters Cancer, the vibe shift will be palpable–and in a good way, for once! (Recall June 2013 - June 2014: any big changes you can look back on and see as significant blessings?) Both Taylor and Travis have their natal Jupiter placed in Cancer. This means they’ll both be kicking off a new 12-year cycle of life around mid-late July. A couple of weeks before that, on June 25, everyone will enjoy some kind of new beginning, thanks to the most positive new moon of the entire year, taking place in Cancer, the moon’s home sign. Transiting Jupiter will be tightly conjunct this new moon, which will also be quite close to both Taylor’s and Travis’s natal Jupiter placements. Something big is happening for them both, and if we use Taylor’s Capricorn Rising chart, that something is taking place in her 7th house of marriage and partnerships. If we use her Libra rising chart, it’s happening in her 10th house of fame and reputation. In either event, it seems this lunation could well coincide with an engagement announcement, or even a private elopement. But only time will tell.
